My nickname is … Sam.
I can’t go a day without … cheese.
If you were in my office, you’d … see organized to-do lists and client files.
My colleagues would be surprised to know that … I can drive a tractor.
The quality I most like in a lawyer is … honesty and the ability to take a step back from a case. Lawyers too often get so caught up in their cases and their clients’ positions that they can’t step back and assess the case in a reasonable manner.
My pretrial routine is … coffee.
My career high point (so far) has been … winning my first trial.
If I weren’t a lawyer, I’d be … sad.
On weekends I … bike or boat, in the summer. Whether it’s road or mountain biking, sailing or motor boating, I’ll be found outside.
I get angry when … opposing counsel is unreasonable.
My favorite podcast is … “The Daily,” by The New York Times.
The last TV show I binge-watched was … Yellowstone.
Nothing cheers me up like … chocolate.
My guilty pleasure is … lots of coffee with maple syrup.
The most annoying thing about my job is … the paperwork.
If I won the lottery I’d … do more pro bono work and build a house!
