Celebrating Bikers

Tim Miley has something in common with a good chunk of his clients: a passion for riding motorcycles. For many years, the Clarksburg, West Virginia, personal injury attorney has represented injured bikers.

“Riders are more than enthusiasts,” says Miley, of The Miley Legal Group. “They’re neighbors, families and veterans. They’re also some of the most generous people you’ll ever meet. Year after year, bikers quietly raise money for local causes, organize benefit rides, and support those in need.”

So Miley came up with a way to say thanks: an annual motorcycle giveaway. Last year was the fourth.

At biker events throughout the riding season, participants can enter the Miley giveaway—one entry per event. The drawing for the grand prize comes at a finale event. The winner then chooses a bike at their favorite dealership, where Miley sends the check. In 2025, the drawing—from 2,583 total entries—was held Sept. 28 at The Social Tap and The “O” by Oliverio’s in Bridgeport, West Virginia. 

“At its heart, the giveaway is more than just handing over a $15,000 prize toward a motorcycle,” says Miley, whose wife, Susan, also rides. “It’s about celebrating a community that has given us so much.”
