Allyson Ortegon

Allyson Ortegon is a Texas-based multimedia journalist with over five years reporting across radio, television, print and digital media. Previously, she covered population and economic growth, politics, policy and culture, while working with organizations including NPR, The Alcalde Magazine and The Texas Tribune. Allyson graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a bachelor’s degree in journalism and a secondary concentration in business and Spanish.
