Ruth I. Major

Attorney Ruth I. Major has experience in representing employees and employers in matters including employment, negotiations of employment agreements, enforcement of non-compete and non-solicitation agreements and litigation of employment discrimination claims. She has worked as a chief attorney in the employment law department of a large corporation in Chicago, Illinois, as well as represented Fortune 500 companies. With this vast experience, Ms. Major now applies her knowledge and experience in the representation of employers for the benefit of employees. She practices in all areas of employment law, with an emphasis on employment discrimination litigation, wage and hour claims, employee benefits disputes, representing parties in the securities industry and litigation of executive employment agreements, including non-compete agreements.

Including her practice, Ms. Major has spoken and written on employment issues including presenting to the Chicago Bar Association's commercial litigation section, the National Employment Lawyers Association and the Practicing Law Institute's Employment Law Institute.
