Details

Angela Pence England has been certified as a specialist in family law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization since 2000, and she focuses her practice exclusively on those types of matters as a founding shareholder at Tindall England, P.C. The firm was formed in January 2009, and Ms. England represents clients throughout the greater Houston metropolitan area. She has been admitted to practice before all Texas state courts since 1995.

Ms. England is trained in both mediation and collaborative law, and this allows her to help many of her clients who are going through a divorce avoid a lengthy and often expensive courtroom battle. However, when litigation appears to be necessary, she will forcefully advocate on their behalf on the issues of parenting time, spousal and child support, and the division of complex marital assets and financial obligations.

In addition to her divorce practice, Ms. England has extensive experience in other types of family law matters, including adoptions, grandparents’ rights, and the preparation and review of prenuptial agreements. For those of her clients who have already had their marriages legally dissolved, she provides assistance when they are seeking to have existing parenting or support court orders enforced or modified. Her successful track record in all of these professional endeavors has earned Ms. England both an AV Preeminent* peer review rating through Martindale-Hubbell and a 10.0 peer review rating through Avvo.

Ms. England majored in accounting at The University of Texas at Austin and received a Bachelor of Business Administration in 1990. She then enrolled at South Texas College of Law Houston, where she was an editor of the South Texas Law Review before graduating magna cum laude in 1994.

*AV®, AV Preeminent®, Martindale-Hubbell Distinguished and Martindale-Hubbell Notable are certification marks used under license in accordance with the Martindale-Hubbell certification procedures, standards and policies. Martindale-Hubbell® is the facilitator of a peer review rating process. Ratings reflect the anonymous opinions of members of the bar and the judiciary. Martindale-Hubbell® Peer Review Rating™ fall into two categories – legal ability and general ethical standards.
