Allan Polunsky is managing partner and founder of Polunsky & Beitel, LLP, a law firm specializing in Real Estate Law with offices in San Antonio and Dallas. He was among the first 50 attorneys in Texas to be Board Certified in both Residential Real Estate Law and Commercial Real Estate Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization.
Polunsky advises clients in document preparation for residential mortgage transactions, commercial real estate matters and government affairs related to residential and commercial development. He has also served as general counsel for numerous mortgage broker and banker associations, including the Texas Association of Mortgage Brokers.
Polunsky & Beitel has represented clients in mortgage transactions for more than 30 years. The firm provides residential mortgage loan packages and document preparation services for many of the country’s top financial institutions using its proprietary MortgageLaw© software.
Polunsky also is the only person to serve as Chairman of both the Texas Public Safety Commission and the Texas Board of Criminal Justice, the state’s top two criminal justice agencies. He has served as Chairman of the Public Safety Commission since 2007, and previously served 13 years as a member of the Board of Criminal Justice, including five years as chairman.
