Cookies, Musicals and a Tricycle

My nickname is … I don’t have one, but I’m constantly surprised by the shorthand versions of my name that people create.
If you were in my office, you’d … see a red tricycle. Feel free to take it for a spin around the floor!
The lawyer I most admire is … Thurgood Marshall.
When I started, I wish I knew … everyone else is just as clueless as I am. We’ll all get it together. Someday. Maybe?
If I weren’t a lawyer, I’d be … on stage. Musical theater was my first love.
On weekends I … try to spend as much time as possible with my wife and three little ones.
The talent I wish I had is … playing piano.
On my best day I … find the best in the people around me.
On my worst day I … succumb to the pessimism (or, at least, skepticism) that is birthed out of disappointment.
My motto is … “Do. Or do not. There is no try.” Thanks, Yoda!
A recurring dream I have is … that I’m still in school and I missed my exams/term paper. It’s terrible.
The one thing that I would change about the legal profession is … the stock we place in traditional proxies of intelligence—LSAT scores, law school ranking, grades.
Nothing cheers me up like … freshly baked cookies.
