Favorite city event 
The Wilmington Flower Market has vibrant flowers, good eats, and entertainment including carnival rides. This fundraising event benefits Delaware’s children.

Besides the people, favorite thing about your office
The tropical fish aquarium. The kiddos love it! I proudly named all of the fish during my first month practicing at Kimmel Carter.

Favorite breakfast spot
Helen’s Sausage House is a hidden Delaware breakfast shop with locations in Smyrna and Newark. A fantastic chain restaurant for breakfast is First Watch.

Favorite late-night eats
Any of the restaurants on Main Street in Newark, such as Deer Park Tavern or Klondike Kate’s. The late-night menus have cheesesteak egg rolls and jumbo wings. Main Street is a popular gathering area filled with both University of Delaware college students
and locals.

Best place to reflect
Anywhere I can listen to the Calm app. Check out the “Infinite Ambient for Relaxation” song. It relaxes
me instantly.

Best view
The Atlantic Ocean. There are many beautiful beaches in Delaware. Rehoboth Beach has a fantastic boardwalk, which is the best place for people watching while enjoying the salt air and Thrasher’s French Fries. The beaches are the perfect weekend getaway.

Go-to sports venue
Frawley Stadium hosts the minor league baseball team the Wilmington Blue Rocks. Of course, Kimmel Carter proudly has a nice advertisement at the stadium.

Favorite pizza joint
Pizza by Elizabeths.

Favorite regional sports moment
The Philadelphia Eagles winning Super Bowl LII in 2018. I watched this game with my family while vacationing in Punta Cana. Nick Foles, second string, became the first player to both throw and catch a touchdown pass in a Super Bowl.

Most heartbreaking regional sports moment
The 76ers during game seven of the second round of the 2019 NBA Playoffs. Joel Embiid walked off the court sobbing. The second straight season of eliminations during the second round.

Place to take out-of-town guests
The riverfront riverwalk in Wilmington has a beautiful walking path with excellent views of the skyline. There are restaurants, mini golf, a children’s museum and a market. This is where my husband proposed.

Most famous resident
President Joe Biden.
