A few years ago, Ben Lagos received a Lego set for Christmas—a model of Doak Campbell Stadium at his alma mater, Florida State University. By the time he placed the last block, says the employment and labor attorney at Allen Norton & Blue, “I was hooked.”
Today, his Tallahassee office and home have become populated with a variety of Lego projects. There’s the mini-model of Yankee Stadium, a playful otter at Florida Aquarium, and the larger finished pieces—which include his favorite Star Wars characters, R2-D2 and C-3PO.
“While the process for some sets takes time, I truly enjoy the requirement that I remain organized throughout, taking each step at a time and ensuring each little piece is placed correctly,” he says.
“They are an excellent way to slow down at the end of the day and focus on something that takes me back to my childhood.”
