My nickname is … “Nat.”

My colleagues would be surprised to know that … 90% of my practice is virtual/online, including my one employee.

The quality I most like in a lawyer is … their character—the person they are outside of the legal profession.

My pre-trial routine (after knowing my case inside and out) is … a manicure, massage, and listening to lots of Wale, J. Cole and Lil Boosie.

When I started, I wish I knew … the importance of quality cases over quantity.

When I was a newbie lawyer I … still am a newbie lawyer, but I would sit in the courtroom and watch random trials.

If I weren’t a lawyer, I’d be … a psychiatrist or a clown at children’s parties.

When I win a case, I celebrate with … cheesecake.

My favorite word is … “stuff.”

My fictional hero is … Okoye, from Black Panther. She’s so fierce and strong.

My motto is … Trust the Process.

On weekends, I … thrift shop (pre-COVID).

My real-life hero is … my mother, Shelia Blackman-Dupas.

The SCOTUS justice I would like to meet is … RBG, rest in peace.

The talent I wish I had is … the ability to speed up small talk.

A different practice area that intrigues me is … successions and estate planning.

My guilty pleasure is … watching 90 Day Fiancé.

My courtroom walk-up song would be … “Sue Me” by Wale.

If I won the lottery, I’d … help the homeless, then disappear.

The three people I’d invite to dinner are … Issa Rae, Miley Cyrus, Michelle Obama.

If I had a morning talk show, my cohost would be … Cardi B.

The last TV show I binge watched was … Grace and Frankie.

Nothing cheers me up like … food, preferably tacos.
