I can’t go a day without … peanut butter.

If you were in my office, you’d … see a beautifully furnished space with views of the Empire State Building.

My colleagues would be surprised to know that … I really wanted to be a Broadway producer.

The lawyer I most admire is … my father, Murray Schwartz, who started my firm in 1949, and was my mentor throughout my career.

The quality I most like in a lawyer is … being a zealous advocate but not a bully.

My career high point (so far) has been … winning a $6.6 million dollar verdict in McIntyre v. Manhattan Ford, a 1996 sexual harassment case, that was brought under the new New York City Human Rights Law.

The SCOTUS justice I’d most like to meet is … RBG.

The SCOTUS decision I’d most like to overturn is … Dobbs, obviously.

My courtroom walkup music would be … any Broadway showtune.

My real-life heroes are … my two children.

On weekends I … spend time with my 96-year-old mother.

My favorite meal is … eggplant parmesan with a side of pasta and a nice glass of red wine.

On my best day I … am in Paris, in the vicinity of the Eiffel Tower.

On my worst day I … get stuck in an elevator.

If I had a time machine, I would … go back to the day Roe v. Wade was the law of the land.

My motto is … Do one thing every day that scares you.

The movie line I quote most often is … “Nobody puts Baby in the corner.”

The three people I’d invite to dinner are … Mandy Patinkin, Kathryn Grody and Viola Davis.

If I had a morning show, my co-host would be … Sarah Jessica Parker.

The last TV show I binge-watched was … Tehran on Apple TV+.

Nothing cheers me up like … going shopping or defeating a motion for summary judgment.

My guilty pleasure is … cheese, any kind.

If I won the lottery I’d … donate most of it but splurge a little on my family.

My favorite podcast is … Here’s The Thing with Alec Baldwin.

My favorite news source is … The New York Times.

I’m inspired by … kindness.

I collect … little spoons.

The one thing that I would change about the legal profession is … it’s still a boys club.

The most annoying thing about my job is … having to explain to people the true meaning of wrongful termination and hostile work environment.

The question I’m tired of answering is … “Did your parents want a boy?” (referring to my name).

A different practice area that intrigues me is … none. I found the perfect one.
