An Obsession in 3D
How my printing hobby took shape

“It all started with a birthday gift—an Ender-3 printer, courtesy of my amazing office team. At the time, I thought, ’Cool! I can print little toys or something.’ Fast-forward two years, and now I have an entire workshop filled with 3D printers, filament spools, and a never-ending list of things I just have to print. Obsession? Maybe. But it’s a fun one.
“From Day 1, 3D printing has been part of my office. I’ve used it to create custom holiday decor—why buy it when you can print something cooler?—gifts for the staff, organizational tools like a shelf to hold a colleague’s Funko Pop collection, and to brainstorm ways to integrate it even further into my law practice. I haven’t printed any visual trial aids yet, but you’d better believe I’m looking for an excuse to.
“I also love talking about 3D printing—giving presentations on its functional and practical applications, and probably nerding out more than I should. Whether it’s streamlining my workspace, making something just for fun, or teaching others about this wild technology, 3D printing is hands down one of the coolest things I’ve ever gotten into.”
