When job stress comes, as it inevitably will, what better way to work through it than with a few overhead smashes? Nobody knows that better than Carol “LuLu” Reisman of Liskow & Lewis, who’s been playing tennis since she was 10.

Reisman was once the second-ranked player in Louisiana in the 18-and-under age group, and went on to play for Tulane University’s women’s team. “Competitive tennis took a back burner as I started my legal career and had a family,” she says, “but when my kids got older, I started playing in USTA adult leagues with a ranking of 4.5.” That put her in about the top 10% of players.

Over the years, she’s even played against a couple of NFL quarterbacks. Reisman recently took on Andy Dalton in a few mixed doubles matches, and, years ago, taught Peyton Manning at a tennis camp she ran with her sister.

“Due to some health problems, I stopped playing competitively about a year ago, but I still love the game,” Reisman says. “It’s a sport you can play for a lifetime.”
