Favorite historical fact  –  Jenkintown was settled in 1697, and Philly’s Christ Church is where Colonial America made its historic break with the Church of England (and where Benjamin Franklin is buried).

Favorite historical site  –  Bryn Athyn Cathedral.

Favorite city event  –  The Mummers Parade on New Year’s Day in nearby Philly is a bucket-list kind of thing.

Favorite historical resident  –  Benjamin Franklin.

Favorite thing about your office (besides the people)  –  Our reputation for practicing the highest standard of employment-based immigration law.

Favorite breakfast spot  –  West Avenue Grille.

Favorite lunch spot  –  Curds & Whey.

Best place to reflect  –  Alverthorpe Park.

Go-to sports venue  –  All of them! Catch the Eagles at Lincoln Financial Field, Phillies at Citizens Bank Park, and 76ers or Flyers game at Wells Fargo Center—Philadelphians are passionate sports fans.

Go-to arts venue  –  Barnes Foundation or Philadelphia Museum of Art, Philadelphia Orchestra, or any of our wonderful theaters—InterAct Theatre, Philadelphia Theatre Company/Suzanne Roberts Theatre or Arden Theatre. 

Favorite movie theater  –  The vintage single-screen Hiway Theater, 105 years young.  

Favorite local shop  –  Berta Sawyer for the women’s high-end clothing.

Favorite coffee shop  –  Be Well Bakery & Café. Try the squash burrito.

Favorite pizza joint  –  That’s tough, but Jules Thin Crust.

Best city sports moment  –  Really? Eagles win the Super Bowl!

Out-of-town guests are impressed with  –  Mural Arts Tours in nearby Philadelphia, which boasts about 4,000 outdoor murals, making Philadelphia the “Mural Capital of the World.”
