Red Drum.
Favorite lunch spot
Pattaya Thai is always in heavy rotation—convenient location, consistently good, and they know my order!
Best view
The balcony off our office has a gorgeous view of the bridge, the water rippling, the marsh swaying, boats sailing and dolphins jumping. It has quite the calming effect.
Favorite park
Pitt Street Bridge in Mount Pleasant.
Go-to arts venue
The Gibbes Museum in downtown Charleston.

Best place for people watching
Mount Pleasant Towne Centre.
Favorite city event
HALOS, a nonprofit I am on the board of and that is dear to my heart, throws an annual waterside oyster roast in Mount Pleasant every October. It is the best and most quintessential Lowcountry way to kick off the fall season!
Favorite local shops
Mylkbar Eco Nails + Beauty; Blend Juice Bar.
Favorite coffeeshops
Vintage Coffee & Cafe in Mount Pleasant, and Second State Coffee in Charleston—it’s where I met my fiancé.
