Lauren Peck

Lauren Peck is a former editorial assistant and associate editor at Super Lawyers. She currently works at a public relations agency in Minneapolis and frequently writes articles for clients on topics from employee burnout to the opioid epidemic. Her work has been published in Minnesota Parent, Twin Cities Metro Magazine, Minnesota Good Age and more. As a staffer and freelancer for Super Lawyers, Lauren has written stories about attorneys taking on cases against Donald Rumsfeld, Colombian narcotics dealers, Skechers and more.

Leslie Forsberg

A fifth-generation Northwest native, Leslie is a seasoned, award-winning freelance writer as well as an editor and author, with roots in public relations. She is an expert on the Northwest (including British Columbia), and travel regularly throughout the region to discover the fascinating people and places that add to the cachet of this remarkable place. She's always on the search for the best local cuisine, and is a fervent baker. She also loves running, hiking and kayaking, but I'm passionate about dance (salsa, swing, waltz, tango and everything in between). Contemporary design and architecture speaks to her, as do environmental issues. 

Lindsey Lewandowski

Lindsey Lewandowski is a Chicago-based freelance writer for Super Lawyers. She is an experienced communications professional currently working in nonprofit/association publishing, managing email- and web-production projects. Additionally, she is a freelance copy editor, proofreader and writer. Ms. Lewandowski has a bachelor’s degree in print journalism from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire and a graduate certificate in book publishing from the University of Denver Publishing Institute. She has copyedited for Wisconsin and Illinois newspapers, as well as for litigation and educational consulting firms, plus has copyedited two nonfiction books and proofread two nonfiction books, among other projects.

Lisa Armstrong

Lisa Armstrong an award-winning journalist with credits in The Washington Post, O, Parade, National Geographic, Ms., The Atlantic, The New York Times, MSN, The Daily Beast and other publications and websites. In addition to an M.A. in journalism, she has a master’s in urban planning with a specialization in international development.

Lynne Margolis

Pittsburgher-turned-Austinite Lynne Margolis worked as a writer and editor at several Pennsylvania newspapers before becoming a full-time freelancer for print, online and broadcast media including the Christian Science Monitor (which syndicated her work worldwide), RollingStone.com, Grammy.com, NPR, The Bluegrass Situation and magazines including Paste and American Songwriter. She has collected inductee oral histories for the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame & Museum archives and was a contributing editor to The Ties That Bind: Bruce Springsteen From A To E To Z. She also edits books, provides website and media consulting, and has written hundreds of artist bios.

M. Leigh Hood

M. Leigh Hood is based in Cincinnati, Ohio, where she's accumulated 10 years of professional writing experience. Since graduating from Bluffton University with a bachelor's in writing and a collection of academic awards, her interviews, features and profiles have appeared in publications including Cincinnati Magazine and Mashed. As an avid traveler, she likes to go looking for ideas on the road with her 88-lb. lap dog while cultivating her growing portfolio in both print and digital publications.

Marc Ramirez

Marc Ramirez is a veteran journalist currently based in the Dallas-Fort Worth area of Texas. A graduate of the University of Notre Dame and the University of California-Berkeley, he has worked for The Seattle Times, Phoenix New Times, The Dallas Morning News, USA TODAY and The Wall Street Journal. In his spare time, he is an avid food and drink enthusiast. Marc is also a dedicated fan of the Seattle Seahawks.

Marisa Bowe

Marisa Bowe is a writer, editor, and producer with credits in The New York Times, The New Yorker, Harper's, New York Magazine, Slate, and PBS NewsHour, among others. She is co-editor of the oral histories Gig: Americans Talk About Their Jobs and US: Americans Talk About Love. She graduated cum laude from Columbia University with a B.A. in modern European history.

Mark Schaaf

Mark Schaaf is a freelance journalist for Super Lawyers. He has a journalism degree from an accredited program, and has worked for Wisconsin publications such as Prairie du Chien Courier Press, Eau Claire Leader-Telegram, Community Newspapers Inc., Oak Creek Patch and The Journal Times.
