June Bell is an award-winning San Francisco-area freelance writer who has contributed to The National Law Journal, California Lawyer, law school alumni magazines and many other publications. A Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Cornell University, she is also a ghostwriter and content strategist.

Karl J. Paloucek

Karl J. Paloucek served as Senior Writer at Tribune Media Services for more than 14 years, interviewing a wide array of personalities, from Christiane Amanpour to Anthony Bourdain, from Kate Winslet to Cookie Monster. As Editor-in-Chief at Fanning Communications just outside Chicago, he has overseen the production of numerous magazines and community newspapers, and penned hundreds of features and cover stories on a dynamic range of topics. An avid explorer in the world of music, he has written numerous stories for The Spill Magazine, does freelance public relations for various musician clients, and for decades, has maintained a sidebar career as a composer/performer/producer of experimental music. He spends his spare time with his wife and son, contributing ideas and direction for their puppet-themed YouTube channel entertainmentinc29, and pursuing regular study on the topics of genocide and life in the Soviet gulag system.

Katelyn Vue

Katelyn double-majored in journalism and political science at University of Minnesota Twin Cities. Before interning for Super Lawyers, she wrote for The Minnesota Daily and was involved in the Hmong Minnesota Student Association and Women's Foundation of Minnesota. She's always in search for story ideas relating to marginalized communities and history.

Kathy Finn

Kathy Finn, a longtime journalist and business writer, is the former editor of New Orleans CityBusiness newspaper and Biz New Orleans Magazine, and a local correspondent for Reuters News, with coverage ranging from the post-Hurricane Katrina recovery and the BP oil spill trial to national entertainment and music news. She is a regular contributor to Super Lawyers and daily newspaper The New Orleans Times-Picayune. She also is author of the book Tom Benson: A Billionaire’s Journey, the story of a car dealer who came to own the New Orleans Saints football team and saw his family break apart as he carved a path to great wealth through the National Football League. Kathy is a longtime resident of New Orleans.

Katrina Styx

Katrina Styx was an editorial assistant and writer at Super Lawyers. She attended the University of Wisconsin-River Falls, where she earned a degree in English-Literature and a minor in journalism.

Kellie MacDonald Freeze

Kenna Simmons

Kenna Simmons is an award-winning writer and editor whose work has appeared in Atlanta magazine and the Atlanta Business Chronicle, and on WebMD.com, Cancer.org and the Mother Nature Network. A graduate of the University of Alabama, she lives in Atlanta and writes regularly about economic development and business for Georgia Trend magazine. 

Kimberly Lekman, Esq.

Kimberly earned her J.D. from Marquette University and went on to work in legal research, legal writing and contract law for the corporate world.

Her love of writing has drawn Kimberly into writing projects for a range of industries. Her writing experience includes legal marketing, freelance script writing, educational content creation and speculative fiction writing for the short story market.

Kimberly now lives in the Orlando, Florida area where she and her two daughters enjoy the year-round outdoor lifestyle.

Larry Atkins is a lawyer, journalist and university professor. He is the author of Skewed: A Critical Thinker's Guide to Media Bias and teaches journalism at both Temple University and Arcadia University. He has written more than 500 articles and op-eds for many publications, including The Washington Post, The Hill, Newsweek, HuffPost, The Progressive, Chicago Tribune, NPR, The Dallas Morning News, and The Philadelphia Inquirer. He is a member of the Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and District of Columbia bar associations.
