A former felony prosecutor and division chief, attorney Mark M. O'Mara has handled all types of criminal cases, including traffic, property crimes, DUI, drug cases and death penalty cases. Mr. O'Mara has been practicing criminal and family law for more than 36 years. He is presently board certified as a Criminal Trial Specialist and a Marital and Family Law Specialist. Double Certification is accomplished by less than one percent of Florida lawyers. He has also been named Criminal Trial Lawyer of the Year and is the incoming President of the National Trial Lawyers.

Mark also focuses his practice on those who have had their civil rights violated, often at the hands of government officials.

In addition to his extensive trial experience in both state and federal criminal defense, Mr. O'Mara also represents clients in divorce cases, involving child time-sharing issues, alimony, and division of assets. He also represents citizens who were injured by the negligence of drug and automobile companies. 

Mr. O'Mara is also involved in many bar activities, including serving as President of the Seminole County Bar Association, President of the Central Florida Family Law Inn of Court and serving on both Circuit and Federal Grievance committees.
