Jack D. Lebowitz

Attorney Jack D. Lebowitz is a founding partner in 1996 with Lebowitz & Mzhen Personal Injury Lawyers in Owings Mills, Maryland. Serving clients throughout the state of Maryland and Washington, D.C., Mr. Lebowitz devotes his practice exclusively to personal injury law and helping his plaintiff clients recover the full amount of compensation they deserve for their injuries and losses caused by someone else's negligent, careless or unlawful actions.

During the course of his career, Mr. Lebowitz has achieved notable success advocating on behalf of those adversely affected by car, truck and motorcycle accidents, pedestrian and bicycle accidents, medical malpractice and nursing home abuse, birth injuries, pharmaceutical errors, slip-and-fall accidents and other preventable tragedies. Through his law firm, he has helped recover more than $60 million in total settlements and awards. 

A 1989 honors graduate of the College of William & Mary, Mr. Lebowitz attended the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law, where he obtained his Juris Doctor in 1992. The Maryland State Bar Association admitted him to practice that same year, and The District of Columbia Bar admitted him in 1993.  In 1993, Mr. Lebowitz was also admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the District of Maryland.

In addition, he has also represented clients before both federal courts in Maryland, and he has served alongside local counsel in state courts in Virginia, Delaware, Pennsylvania, and South Carolina.

Along with his successful trial practice, Mr. Lebowitz also maintains active involvement with several professional legal associations, including the Maryland Association for Justice, Inc., the American Association for Justice and the Baltimore County Bar Association.
