I can’t go a day without … an enormous amount of seltzer.
My colleagues would be surprised to know that … I never liked seltzer prior to working at a law firm.
My pre-trial routine is … aside from the necessary prep, to make sure to take time for family and fitness. These efforts help ground and center me as I gear up for diving myself into a case 24/7.
My career high point (so far) has been … achieving a favorable settlement in my first arbitration as a junior associate. I loved being the master of the facts and using that role to obtain a victory for my client.
If I weren’t a lawyer, I’d be … in business (I also have an MBA). I am still interested in landing a CEO role someday.
When I win a case, I celebrate by … moving the case from the active folder in my email inbox to my prior cases (I love a clean inbox), celebrating with everyone that worked on the case, and going out for a nice dinner.
My favorite class in law school was … Corporations.
My most bizarre talent is … cooking extravagant meals. My go-to favorites over the past year have been salt-baked branzino, mapo tofu, jalapeno-marinated pork chops, and grilled oyster mushrooms.
The last TV show I binge-watched was … Succession. Loved it!
My guilty pleasure is … criminal procedural dramas.
If I won the lottery, I’d … buy a house with enough land for a couple of horses.
My favorite podcast is … I secretly hate podcasts. I much prefer to read an article.
The app I use the most is … Instagram.
The most annoying thing about my job is … working with unethical and/or unprofessional opposing counsel.
I’m inspired by … people who have a deep passion for things outside the norm. I love to ask questions to learn more about what they find most interesting on the topic and how they were drawn to it.
