Nina Schuyler

Nina Schuyler earned her law degree at UC Hastings College of the Law. She has worked at the San Francisco Daily Journal as a reporter covering employment law, criminal law, and women in the law. At California Lawyer magazine, she was a senior editor. In addition to writing about the law, she is the published author of the award-winning novel The Translator, and has a new novel, Afterword, coming out 2023. Her award-winning short story collection, In this Ravishing World, will be published in 2024. She currently teaches writing at Stanford Continuing Studies.

Oni Harton, Esq.

Oni Harton is an experienced estate planning and litigation attorney. She has been writing and researching for more than two decades and enjoys contributing to efforts that connect people with critical legal services. Riley Beggin is a freelance journalist for Super Lawyers. She has a master’s in journalism from the University of Missouri, and is a watchdog reporter with Bridge Magazine. She has previously worked for NPR, KBIA, ABC News, and Southern California Public Radio.

RJ Smith

RJ Smith has been an editor for Los Angeles Magazine and The Village Voice, and a contributor to Spin and Details. He has written for The New York Times Magazine, Elle, GQ, Grand Royal, and the Los Angeles Times. He is the author of four books, including The One: The Life and Music of James Brown and the upcoming Chuck Berry: An American Life. A former Visiting Scholar at the Getty Research Institute and Community Scholar at USC, Smith lives in Los Angeles.

Ron S. Doyle

Ron S. Doyle is a Colorado-based writer and editor whose work has appeared in 5280, BicyclingBackpacker, Psychology Today, Westword, and many more. He is currently the producer of The Narrators, an award-winning storytelling show and podcast in Denver. He holds a bachelor's degree in psychology from the University of Colorado Boulder and a master’s degree in communications from the University of Denver.

Ross Anderson

Ross Anderson is a semi-retired journalist who lives in Port Townsend, Washington. Over the course of his 30 years at The Seattle Times, Ross covered politics, courts and natural resources and won a number of awards, including a 1990 Pulitzer for coverage of the Valdez Oil Spill. In more recent years, he has written for Super Lawyers and Postalley.org in Seattle, and is a founding member of Rainshadow Journal, a journalism site based in Port Townsend.

Steph Weber

Steph Weber is an award-winning journalist specializing in healthcare, business, and law.
